Davey messed up on Saturday....

...big time.

If he was so hell bent on playing 3 wingers in that game he should've played Odejayi on his own up front. Even better play the same system but with Hume playing where JCR was initially and then move him out wide, opposite Devaney. And then to bring Mossto on to face Morgan & Killgallon on his own was just, in my opinion, stupid.

Right up until the sending off there was no movement - how many times did everyone just stop still? We were crying out to bypass their midfield of Spring & Speed who were picking up the majority of 50-50 balls. When we did play our wingers in we looked dangerous, but then had nothing in the box.

Overall, the lads worked their balls off but I still think Davey messed up with the initial selection & substitutions afterwards. We could, and more importantly, should have beat them.

 

I believe he was too negative...

Sticking Mostto up front on his own when he has been given no time on the field all season is just ridiculous. We should have 2 up front at home anyway. We were on a great run with the best record over the past 6 games in the Championship and we should have put out a more attacking formation.
