Davey out? Our season hasn't even started yet!

I expect we'll improve when we get Da Silva back - possibly before if Colace gets international clearance and if he's any good.

Ok so there are VERY frustrating things Davey's doing in the meantime, like playing Bobby in midfield when he knows full well that he can't play there. If he won't ever play Johnson then we should offload him.

Sacking the manager would cripple us for weeks... big payoff, finding a replacement, squad assessment, trial & error, waiting til January to spend big signing new players for the new boss's style.

Given that we've struggled to get good players to come to an unfashionable club, exactly who would deliver better results, taking the upheaval into account?

All in all, can we please wait a few weeks before throwing all the teddies out of the pram and discarding Davey?

 

Agree with all that mate, but people need to realise, DE Silva is not fit yet, so we have to cope with what we have, i think there goiing to be expecting too much from Anderson once he is fully fit, we have enough cover until then which i think is good enough to compete at this level.

 

Unless our season starts very quickly ieoints on the board then Davey will be under intense pressure from the supporters and the longer we wait the more difficult it will become to retrieve the points required to escape relegation! Yes we are already in the early stages of a battle to avoid the drop!.
Seen nothing to change my opinion that we will still struggle to score goals and if anything the defence looks more shaky than it did this time last season. Agree about Anderson as he is Quality but he is NOT a goalscorer.
