Only joking... well sort of. He's escaped again and will no doubt get another chance next season. Hope he's learnt his lesson about playing defensively at home, hope Iain Hume is back next season and the same player he was and I hope Davey can make 2 or 3 of his summer signings be quality Championship players.
RE: No Joke pal - He MUST go No they won't but is the best thing to stick or twist. 3 sides who've gone down are all bigger clubs than us and have had a managerial merry go round. If Davey keeps learning from his mistakes we may do well next season. Don't forget with 2 more wins, which we should easily have got, we'd have been mid table and nobody would have been complaining too much.
Let him have another go. But tell him to drop the excuses and remove the rose tinted glasses when we've been crap. It's when he insults my intelligence that the hackles really rise.
Got to go If davey stays I will guarentee right now that we will not sell as many tickets as we did last season
hang on Darred, what do you mean by," if Davey keeps learning from his mistakes". When has there been a shift of improvement during the past 3 seasons?
Less Fans will attend next season if Davey is still there That is a fact, wether PC wears his rose tinted spexcs the season ticket sales will be down by at least 20%. Many fans do not want Davey there but it seems to me that Cryne has the Dennis mentality of not listening .
All managers make mistakes early in their careers, playing too defensively at home against the crap sides was his biggest this season and being too loyal with Muller. But Davey had huge bad luck with the Hume injury. Hume WOULD have made the difference and although you can't depend on one man, any side who loses their best striker and can't afford to replace him is going to suffer.
