DAVEY OUT for killing my passion in regards to Barnsley Football Club, never have i looked forward to a new season as little as this one. Im not going on Thursday where as in previous seasons id be buzzing for the first friendly. It took me to the last day to decide to renew my season ticket and i can honestly say that im struggling to get even slightly excited about the new campaign.

Exactly the same here pal. I am flaming angry with Davey for the same reasons as you and i know other fans feel the same way.

First match of the season tomorrow and yet all I'm going to watch is the remains of last season's squad, a few triallists who don't exactly sound great and a few of the youth team who we'll get used to seeing as they fill out the bench since we now need 7 subs.

Errr because im a barnsley supporter and have been for over 20 years, if it wasn't for the fact that i didn't want to lose my seat where i have sat for so long i wouldn't have renewed. Davey is killing this club, already i go to less away games and take less interest at the home games. Anyone that is expecting anything other than another season in the bottom 6 is kidding themselves.

We have missed a trick this season, we could have got rid of Davey and brought in a new manager to look at our squad with fresh eyes, going into the first game at hillsborough with a new boss in charge would have seen the fans with a lot more belief than we currently have.

 

Zetland, I don't know how old you are but, with respect, I'd like to remind you that life is not Black and White that grey areas do exist. I too want to see the back of Davey as do a hell of a lot of people. I also have bought a season ticket but will not necesserily go to many matches. Why, one might ask, well, it's about supporting the club financialy so that hopefully we will not go under. In the meantime however we just might get rid of this welshman and replace him with a more able person. who that might be is an answer I cannot give but beleive me good buddy I do know quite a bit and as such will "twiddle my thumbs and wait" think what you want to think about my last sentence but I know more than what you might or might not give me credit for.

just returned and now zetland your respons to my post. well, to begin.You appear not to have read my input correctly. Which part of" It's not a BLACK and White" situation don't you understand. Meaning, this world does not revolve around your attitudes/opinions/values or suggestions. Each one of us will behave quite freely and make individual decisions about wether we pay good money for a season ticket and wether we attend or not.It is entirely up to that person and not to a response to a control freak such as yourself. In sum, I make the decision not to contribute monies purely on the basis that I don't wish to do. I also make the decision to choose, if any, games I wish to go to. It's commonly known as freedom of choice in a complex world of black, white and grey. Do you get that?
