Icouldnt beleive my ears at half time ,we were embarisingly bad agreed,but bloke behind me said same **** no change we need to get shut,45 mins into new season and we need to get shut,we have to have some perspection here ,i told him the manager was not to blame when the players crossed that line ,i couldnt fault the line up on pre season form.even had the balls to chuck butterfield in , i can just see it if he hadnt performed , not enough experiance groan moan.He rightly bollocked them it wasnt brilliant second half but they showed charcter in getting back into the game and could have snatched it playing poorly over 90 mins.If thats the case i cant wait for us to turn up from the start,For once davey should start to get credit for the good points and not just the nagativitk when he fecks up.If the signings come off this week lets here some positives on here for davey fetching quality in again,because i cant beleive it if he pulls these 3 off this week .I didnt remind him at full time what he had said i think he was embarassed enough.

I have no problem with admitting it, I dislike Davey and have no faith in him. He made me eat humble pie yesterday when we fought back though, I just hope he proves me wrong.

As I said in a previous post, if he keeps us up this year I will apologise to him face to face.

Davey is taking a lot of stick, not saying its not all justified but what i will say this club at grass roots never looked as healthy for a long long time, The young lads coming through the quality of player we signing is a lot better once and when we sign them but going for the right type of player. we not going to get promoted think we all know that but we are stepping in the right direction. was Ferguson a big hit at man ure, no he was 1 game away from sack. if my memory serves me well Robins goal saved him.

Ferguson had one bad season, his first ,at Man Utd after considerable success at Aberdeen . Daveys had a good cup run in 3 seasons.....the comparison is obvious !!!!

Give SD credit where it's due.
If Hammill arrives, together with the Icelander and O'Neill, plus the likes of Butterfield & Potter coming through, we've reason to be very optimistic for a top half finish. And much of this is down to SD.

Getting Adam Hammill's signature especially, before Leeds or anyone else for that matter- thank SD.

 

I was firmly in the Davey out crowd then i listened to him and PC speak at the supporters meeting and i personally think we have got a manager passionate about Barnsley Football Club! If PC is happy with SD then for the time being im happy to get behind him - SD knows things need to improve!

i would have taken it
however we pulled back 2 goals away for a draw. Davey got them going for second half, if he can do that he's improved on the last 2 seasons.
He just needed to get the team to make more chances than last season, which they did. and He's been honest in interviews telling us whats going on, both with regards performace and transfers.
so i think he has earned a little bit of support for now.

 

So the managers not to blame when they cross the line in the first half but its all down to Davey when they turned it round in the second half Is that what youve just written?
