Two ways of looking at it....................remember Davey has potentially made us £££££ MILLIONS

Jewell is a great manager and shown he can do it in the Premeirship
On the other hand Davey is only just getting started, this is only is first real season in charge
And look what hes doing (clap) (clap) (clap)
And nowt much to spend in comparrison with other championship clubs

But look what hes brought in !!!!!!!!!!!!!
What are these players worth now ???
Muller £2.5 mil ?
Sousa £3 mil ?
Werling 0.5 mil ?
Stan 2 £ mil ?

I also like foster and Kayo, mosquito, christiensen have great potential
Davey has also done really well in the loan market - De Silva, Nyatanga and Maken are really good loan players but dont really count to the long term future cos they have to go back at some point

We also have Howard valued at £ 3 mil (although not brought in by Davey) so build on these players in the next season and we have a reight chance of getting into the playoffs next season

It's more likely that Jewell will go to Preston

But should PNE come in for Davey, then I'd like Jewell as replacement

while i think he's generally done well................

£3m for Souza is way way too high-he would have to cut out the careless mistakes and improve his distribution to be even worth £1m

Not my words...........Simon Daveys
At a meeting he mentioned a player that had been sold to a club for £2.5 Million and he said Denis Sousa is worth MUCH MORE than that........................FACT !!!

Then he's deluded.

Werling 500k? Who would pay that for someone who's whole game constitutes being able to kick the ball really hard.

Jewell used to live ...

... in Bingley. Not sure where he is now but said he was very settled in Yorkshire at the time.So maybe PNE may not be as attractive a proposition ?Jewell to Reds, Riijkard to PNE, Nigel Wood to Barca !

You just replied to the wrong post, but somehow that doesn't surprise me.

So Davey said it, must be true then. A player is worth what someone else is prepared to pay for him. That's nowt as yet.

Some how Black bladder...........I think a valuation of a player by Davey will be more accurate than

YOURS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Then your deluded.

If you think that he's worth 500k, I want what you're smoking.

Why do you think he's worth that much, bearing in my mind, you're answer ideally should not include the words "well, so-and-so sold for x amount".

But you backed up your figures by saying that Davey had said it.

Look, if stuff is being made up then I demand to know who is making it up! Make up your mind.
