Barnsley manager Simon Davey dismissed speculation linking him with the role after his side's 1-1 draw with Preston on Sunday. He said: "Nothing has been said to myself. I am Barnsley Football Club manager and I love being the manager and unless somebody tells me different then nothing changes." According to the bbc. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/nottm_forest/7802090.stm Sorry if posted already, i was in bed during the game.
That's right. Guess media think he will want to manage the "bigger" club but the media needs to reflect on the situation now not 20 years ago.
There's many reasons for him to stick with us, but i'll go with just........ Loyalty for us giving him his first chance at first team management. We have gave him great support compared to other managers we've had. He's not taken us as far as he's going to just yet.
End of day is the money calls................... I'd like to think he would stay though. He's a great relationship with Cryne. The players speak highly of him. We gave him the oppurtunity.
So a four year contract not long into his first ever managerial role and the best transfer budget possibly ever is not showing him support?
