I agree with your Y/N verdicts. The jury is still out on Christensen because the lad just has not had a chance. Why that is given the failure of the other forwards, I have no idea. I thought Homoet did well on Sat given he was playing out of position. He looke strong, quick and good in the tackle. If Lewin goes back in the new year it could be Foster in the middle and Hooet on the right??
Muller Y Werling N Kozluk Y Souza Y Foster Y Ryce Y Ricketts N Johnson N Mossto N Odejayi N Christensen ? Houmet ?
Yep I agree completely with your Ys too, but of the Ns how many have had a decent run of games to establish themselves? In the recent past we've given players, particularly local ones, seasons to prove their worth!
Aha , can you beat my four of a kind ? Brian Sharratt , Phil Tingay , Paul Malcolm & Martin Taylor !! (nodding2fingers) (nodding2fingers)
I agree with that But there's still time for the N's & ?'s to be changed into Y's. Players who have not been an immediate success can still prove their worth, despite the fact that some impatient fans think otherwise. Ian Walsh & Steve Davis immediately spring to mind as two players who served us well, after getting their Barnsley careers off to a slow start.
Mostto's a definite ?? for me, his only run in the side came with Odejayi, who I suspect is very difficult to form any sort of understanding with.
How fickle are some people on here http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=79369&mid=508638#M508638 How views on here have changed. Not long ago some were describing his as the next Henry now he's not good enough to even drive the team bus
I am not arrogant enough To suggest any of paul's 'N's & '?'s are permanently in either box, nor that they're incapable of becoming 'Y's. Of all those players, Mostto is the one I believe can still be a success. Others think differently, that is their perogative.
