I watched a Top Gear the other night where Clarkson drove a Mercedes McLaren super-car to Oslo. He wanted to see if it would make it. He concluded that the weakest thing in a modern mercedes was the soft organic part behind the steering wheel.

I think that this is the perfect analogy for Barnsley F.C. at the moment. We have all the component parts we need to be a decent mid-table side, but the weakest part of the setup is the soft organic bit picking the side.

I don't know what to say. Davey has pulled together a decent side on very little money, but he knows chuff all about tactics and he can't line a side up to save his life. I'd sack him from the first team and keep him on as a chief scout. I can't believe we're reliving the conclusion to the last two seasons all over again.
