the way I see it it's looking likely we will lose, and if we do Davey won't get sacked anyway becuase Shepherd is too stubborn to admit he made a mistake in appointing him and he is so stubborn on the issue he would rather condemn Barnsley to five or more years in the alehouse league than rectify that error. I actually feel some sympathy for Davey becuase nobody could turn down a chance at championship management, but GS has robbed him of any chance to build a good career from the lower leagues, he will eventually be sacked from Oakwell and disappear.
RE: the way I see it If he does, he will have no one to blame but himself. Shepherd gave him the chance. If he blows it (which is how it appears at the moment) that will be down to him. All he has to do is ask himself how he would like to be treated if and when there is a new Chairman at BFC and then relate that to the players that he is now responsible for. Simple really!
Davey is going nowhere so unless we all just want to moan about him week in week out for the rest of the season then we should all just get on with supporting the club. We are still in with a good shout of staying up and if we do everything will be forgotten. I was not particularly overjoyed with his appointment but now he is manager we should just get behind him and the team. The players need to hear support at this stage of the season not booing. He is here for the next 18months. If we stay up he will obviously stay as he will have done a job. If we go down he will stay because the club wont be able to afford/attract a better manager.

After the Hull game I see us losing comfortably tomorrow at Southampton because weve got used to losing away from home. Hull at home could be the final straw. We always lose at home to them and if it happens on Tuesday I think he could be a gonner.
Its sad mate yes But the present regime has to hold its hands up and take responsibility for not investing. After Cardiff we should have been strengthening. Box Office names? My arse!
