    It used to stand for

    &quot;Barnsley Tell Truth&quot;</p>

    However, since this phrase is now rendered obsolete these initials have been re-employed to mean &quot;Back To Top&quot;.</p>

    Each time a thread is replied to, it jumps to the top of the forum index page.</p>

    If you wish to &quot;bump&quot; a thread back up the list to keep it in the public eye, but have no comment to add, you just reply with &quot;BTT&quot;.</p>

    The thread jumps where you want it and everyone knows not to read the reply in question as it is just a means to move the thread up the board.
