Sees him getting very irate with some of the questions asked.
Talks about positives all the time and upset with the negativity from some of the interviewers.
It's a shame that he comes across badly when he responds like this.
(Think it was a Radio Sheff interviewer - voice soundd familiar)

Ah says it all. Still haven't forgiven him for the 'Champagne back on ice!" fiasco a couple of seasons back. Total idiot, poorly researched and a 'don't care' attitude.
Not defending Davey.. But Dee darr have for sometime now, displayed an indifference to our club. listen to any interview or even P&G re Pikeys, they will have none of it, they wrap the Pikeys in cotton wool. I personally believe they would love Pikeys to replace us as the main rivals to both Dee darr clubs.
Davey should have laid the nut on. Fair play to Davey. Giddings looking for something thats not there. Basically he's asking did Bobby get monk on for being dropped again, fishing for dressin room unrest.
He needs to be able to rise above it though. Giddings is obnoxious and by getting irate like that, even though he was baited, it plays right into Radio Sheff's hands. Agree about the 'love affair' that the station has with Donny Rovers. Giddings continually waxes lyrical about them and their 'passing game'. I didn't see much evidence of it when they came to Oakwell! I hate them and I hope they lose every single game. That T shirt still winds meup when I think about it. "44 cup finals and 2 games against Barnsley!"
Davey is spot on there is too much negativity about our club. SD deserves alot of credit for standing firm and backing the club. What I appreciate most about SD is his loyalty and love for the club. I for one feel reassured by his comments and fell he deserves the backing of the fans.
The fact that our main players are signing new contracts speaks volumes for the fact that the squad is with SD. If they are backing him then so should we. Everybody should be getting behind them now, regardless of feelings towards the manager. I think he has improved us massively as a club since he took over. We are now a competivitive Championship side, in a division that has also improved year on year. Can we expect anymore than what we have had in his time with us? But for the lack of a goalscorer we would be hailing him as a great manager.
