Where's the apology from him for the shower of sh!te that we're having to put up with.

Good performance or not, I've had enough, leave it any longer and we'll be cast adrift. Get shut now and lets at least have some optimism with a new, completely fresh gaffer, someone who is not promoted from within and at least give us something to look forward to.

As it stands this is utter bilge, he doesn't give a rats ass as long as he can maintain the whole played well and got nothing attitude. Cryne, nows your chance to show how much you care for the club and get the f*ck rid of him.

Missed today but seen the other games so I'd like to think I'm in a position to comment.

what did you think of the Coventry game ?

I thought we were very good first half... shocking in the second.... but it's three league matches if thhis continues into October then you may have a point. Also who would you appoint ?

Maybe you should give Patrick a call

and offer to help I'm find the £1.3 million it'd cost to pay up Daveys 4 year contract.

Just what I was going to say. As for appointments, anyone. Let's go mad, Stan Ternant, Nigel Clough, Bryan Robson, don't really care, they could be no worse.

As we've always done in the past

This is the first time we#ve had stability at the club for yours. We have an awful track record of sacking managers and when has it ever put us in a better position.

Yes its been a disappointing start to the season but its 3 games in, 2 of which were away against the promotion favourites. If 3 months things are bad then perhaps so but after 2 succesful seasons (which stopping in hthis league is) then we have to give him time

    Nope, but I do know

the other 2 candidates interviewed last time wanted 2 million to spend to keep us up. We are, Im afraid, where we are. Unless you can magic up another 4,000 supporters, were a League 1 club over achieving.

Is this a different Simon Davey to last season's?

I can never understand why people start a manager's record afresh every season.

Nigel Clough's success has been based totally and completely on a long and patient support from both the board and fans. They are realistic in their expectations and given him support through rough patches

There's a couple of little flaws with that point.

Firstly the season lasts a bit longer than three months and secondly you've kind of illustrated that, despite his spending, he's getting worse. With that in mind you have to ask yourself - when you're on the decline what comes after narrowly avoiding relegation?

    A point you keep repeating....

...which depends solely on the erroneous assumption that gate takings are a club's only income.
