    Bet the players hope he calms down by monday

    I wouldnt like to bet on it though.
    Its got to be frustrating when as a manager you train them all week.
    Have the opposition watched and work out tactics to suit,
    and then they just don't turn up or should I say do turn up but just don't the basics when required.
    Sounded today like people ball watching.
    Not tracking runners
    Allowing the ball to bounce in the area.
    Not putting their foot through the ball when needed to clear their lines.
    Basic things that professional players paid good money shouldn't have to be told to do.

    Who'd be a manager eh?

    He is yes, but if we had won today he would have taken praise with the players. Everyone are in it together and so take the praise after a win and the negatives after a defeat.

    Playing to cute, iv'e said that many a time on here. Who do they think they are Brasil. Last season we won plenty of games away, with players who probably arn't as good as the present team but by eck did they fight to keep us up. Foreign mentality not as strong and not up to the fight like the home bred players? just a thought , but we will be well in the mix to go down, and if Davey can't get through to them get a fecking interpreter in. Thank goodness they are three teams at the bottom who seem to be worse than us, and that's hard to believe. (N)

    I think you're right Dreamboy but..........

    After a good win I dont think I've ever heard SD say
    " I got the tactics spot on today and I deserve some of the credit for todays win"
    He's happy to let the player have the lime light when they win so they should take the flack as well. (i.m.o)

    He really doesnt help himself does he

    hardly likely to endear himself with the squad ie "we are all in this together" well we are when we win when we lose its you lot who are to blame.Its like being at school "it were them sir not me sir please sir I did my homework sir" etc
