Not really fair... ...given the mountainous task we had today. It sounds to me like we've been outclassed fair and square so far.
He's in a no win situation, though. It's easy to say gamble but it's not our jobs on the line. I don't gamble with my livelihood - if things are going badly I try to minimise the losses. That said, I'd like to see us at least start the second half pushing to get back into it. But to do that Davey needs to know that the board and the supporters are behind him if we take the chance and get a hammering. This is the simple equation behind Bassett's success - take risks and ignore the flak and if you get fired go somewhere else and try it again. With 3 points for a win the risks are worth taking. If we want our club to do that then we need to accept the consequences when it goes wrong.
