Whats happened to the lad did ok against Mansfield and scored a worldy... Has his head been turned or have we set our sights higher?
His agent gave the club an ultimatum after scoring against Mansfield either sign him today or we walk. So they walked Sent from my SM-G800F using Forum Runner
LJ said in Chronicle on Friday that after the Mansfield game Ball's agent rang and said something on lines of "he's scored for you in a friendly so offer a contract now or forget about it" and LJ said he didn't like that he was given an ultimatum so he has put the deal on ice for now. Think it could be something we could re-visit if the two bids we have in for strikers don't work out and Ball is still available and within are budget.
LJ said we had bids in for 2 strikers. The way he said it I think hes fairly confident of getting both. Ball is more of a No.10 than a striker. I think now we've signed Williams he'll hold off on ball.
It was tidy finish against Mansfield but to be fair you see those types of goals in the park on a Sunday morning all the time...
