David Beckham........he has my TOTAL Respect now

    just watched the video of his press conference announcing his stand down from the England Captaincy. Allthough he read it from a paper he wrote last night apparently he still came across to me as it was directly from the lads heart.I respect this Boy who is now in my eyes a Man in every respect.I was quite moved and hope he is allowed to go into the next Euro campaign and hopefully we will win that.

    totally agreee mate and well said...although he read it from a piece of paper he wrote you could tell it was from the heart...you always knew how proud he was to be captain of our country

    People can question his ability, and can question his position in the team..

    But watching him, there is no way people can question his love for his country and his commitment and desire as England Captain.

    It did come from the heart, and it was sincere.
