Definite intent - he was exhausted, and didn't have the energy left to chase him back so he tried to clatter him into the stands and missed. Can understand why he was booked for it.
Maybe the ref could have made it 2-0 then cos I reckon Davies intended to score when he missed his header
i think you can now be sent off 4 intent without any contact at all under this season rules, it is ofc hills fault lol
cant remember who it was but a player once asked a ref if he could get booked for thinking about something. Ref said no so he said "well i think your a lovely person!" lol
Re: cant remember who it was but a player once asked a ref if he could get booked for Looked to me that he actually clipped the guy who kept going.....I was hoping the ref missed it but I certainly see why it was a booking
Re: cant remember who it was but a player once asked a ref if he could get booked for Depending on your era, that has been attributed to Winstanley, McCarthy and Taggart. The tale goes: "Ref: What would you do if I called you a lovely person?" "I'd send you off." "And how about if I just thought it?" "Nothing I can do about that." "In that case..."
Re: cant remember who it was but a player once asked a ref if he could get booked for The fact that he made no attempt whatsoever to play the ball and just took a swipe at the player means the ref can book him. Thought it was fair enough.
Steeles was different. he wasnt booked for intent, he was booked because his attempt to get the ball (unsuccessfully) caused the striker to take avoiding action.
That McMahon fella who was on loan at the Wendies a few seasons ago from Boro, got sent off for making a 2 footed tackle on Rob Kozluk despite timing it so badly that he missed Kozluk completely, he still got sent off for intent, and rightly so.
