(how many 'red hot' Currie gags can I get in before someone tells me to shut the **** up?) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=I729oqVJozw I certainly enjoyed making this one.
That's brill! (y) Opened my eyes as to how entertaining we seemed to be back then. I'd love a player like that at oakwell now.
RE: Yet again Quality Mate I bumped into his on the stairs in the East Stand, not long after we'd resigned him. I saw him from behind in a dodgy grey suit and I instinctively said 'DAVID CURRIE!' in excitement (I wasn't very old) and he turned round. His teeth alone nearly scared the **** out of me. He was a lovely fella though - really nice bloke - signed an autograph said how happy he was to be back.
Good memories & excellent production Shame you didn't have the 'never mind the hairstyle, feel the quality' goal from Hull away though!
Haha......... the club shop when I was a young un use to sell signed footballs. Got on other players as well like Phil Gridlet, Lee Butler, Mark Robinson etc. The programme he signed back in the John Wark days at Portman Road for a night match at Ipswich.
