    Just watched him in action for Villa on ESPN c.1980. Top striker for us in his time.</p>

    Never realised he was part of Svens England set-up.</p>

    Quality striker. He'd scored 14 goals before Xmas in 1984/85 and we were in the top 4 in the old second division. Then Birmingham came in with a derisory offer of £80k and we sold him to them because it was the middle of the miners' strike and we were skint. We finished the season in a below mid-table position.
