You're probably right actually. Might just be the chump trying to work the crowd again, and give himself another immediate excuse.

Had to pull out of fights at short notice a few times, so obviously best he goes out now rather than fighting just for the money if he can't be 100%.

Looking forward to the many posters on here who were bigging him up, apologising, and admitting he's bottled it. Again.

    Gu on, Tyson lad.

Unlikely to happen that I reckon. If Haye did fight Fury I still think Haye would knock him out.

Andy , that is a proper load of Ballax mate !!

Fury is not fit to lace Hayes gloves !!

Haye has had 5 hours in theater and you think he did that just to not fight a tomato can ?

I should also add that if Haye has just done this as a stunt, the man is then a first class lovely person !!!

Some bizarre comments in this thread

A British fighter that won world titles on foreign soil, unifying the Cruiserweight division in the process. Defended his world title twice, putting himself in a position to challenge the best heavyweight from the last decade. And despite opinions of some, he gave Wladamir a tougher fight than many give him credit for, Wladamir's toughest fight in recent years in fact.

After five hours of shoulder surgery you're not going to go in to a February fight - especially one where you have everything to lose and not a lot to win. Haye is a far superior boxer and athlete to Tyson Fury.

I actually think Haye will fight again, possibly towards the end of 2014. He'll beat someone like Stiverne or Povetkin for one of these 'regular' world titles, and then defend that against Fury for more like £10 million rather than £5 million.

Bloody ell, really? The one I watched, he never laid a glove on Wlad. Not a glove. He was quicker to take his sock off, than he was to land a punch.

Wladamir didn't land too much glove on him either though, not in comparison to the beating Povetkin took a month ago!

And he rocked Wladamir in Round 10/11, and had him back peddling.

Nah, not having it. I've never been impressed by Haye. And this latest bottle job does little to alter my opinion.

Had it been Fury who pulled out originally with a cut, you'd all be lambasting him. Had he then pulled out again, you'd again be on his case. Can't have it both ways.

I remember when the rumour was surfacing that Fury wouldn't take the fight. The Haye lovers on here were giving it large about what a bottler he was etc etc.

You don't like him, fair enough. You don't think he's a decent boxer, fair do's. But were this the other way around, I know you'd be saying what i'm saying now, but against Fury.

Btw, I don't actually think Haye's lying or owt. I'm just sticking the boot in.

I do though believe he didn't fancy taking Fury on, and I think these two pull outs are very convenient. Ah well, he can always go back in the jungle eating spiders and kangaroo ********.

Shame for Tyson, though. After beating Haye he'd finally be given the respect he deserves. I mean, even David Price was lauded on here by the same posters. And he's a right pussy.

Absolute sacrilege that he goes by the name of Tyson. Kinda like Liam Gallagher calling his son Lennon. Just close your eyes for a second, and visualise Fury and Tyson at his peak, in the same ring. Destruction.

Re: Some bizarre comments in this thread

You need to wind your neck in sometimes before you reply. There's only about six people on the whole BBS who give a **** about boxing, so calling people 'Haye Lovers' and claiming they wouldn't be saying this if the shoe was on the other foot is just false and extremist. Don't direct your points directly at me with the term 'you' when those points are incorrect.

I've never said Fury isn't a decent boxer, but he doesn't have anything significant on his boxing CV that allows anyone to say he's a better boxer or athlete than David Haye. That's not opinion, that's just how it is. He's got decent enough skills, but hasn't shown them against anyone half decent, and in his young career he got a gift decision against McDermott, got put on his back by an average Canadian, and then again by a Cruiserweight who had no right fighting in the Heavyweight division. He might go on to prove me wrong as he develops and steps up in class, but he hasn't done that yet.

Haye has a CV, and whatever you think of him it's an impressive one that can't be played down.

As for your David Price comment. He was lauded on here, but he was completely sold down the river by his promoter. Tony Thompson is better than anything Fury has faced, and Price moved to quickly believing the hype. Calling him a pussy is a bit harsh - especially considering the barrage of punches he took in the second loss without actually going down.
