Here Liga outfit Valencia have played down speculation they could mount a January transfer window bid for Leeds United striker David Healy. The former Preston ace recently bagged a Euro 2008 qualifying hat-trick for Northern Ireland against Spain, leading to speculation of a Spanish switch. However, despite Valencia carrying a number of injuries, with the likes of Vicente, David Albelda and Ruben Baraja all out, they are not looking to bolster their attacking line. Che have David Villa and Fernando Morientes at their disposal and have no thoughts about landing the striker who dented Spain's hopes of qualifying for Euro 2008. "We received an offer from (Healy's) agent, but a striker is not what we need right now," explained Valencia sporting director Amedeo Carboni.
