We must be trying to sell the entire squad before we get a new manager. Done can go, same as Davies and Wiseman but it's absoloutely imperative that we keep Perkins, Dawson and Steele.
Done probably will go as Don was apparently keen to sell when there was interest in the summer but Keith wanted to keep him. But I agree about Perkins, key player and must be retained. Sky article says he's out of contract in the summer but I though he signed an extension until 2015??
Apologies, 2014... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19367226 ... but nevertheless Sky are wrong on that one so hopefully we can keep him.
Agreed and I like Perkins. BUT.......if we sell could we get a more creative midfielder to play alongside Dawson and two wingers in a 4-4-2. That's my train of thought. Also, if BFC get a decent price it is a good move for club and also for Perkins as I would imagine this would be his last "big" move (and maybe his first?).
Shame if Perkins goes but I don't see him and Dawson in the same team long term TBH - and Dawson gets the nod for me. I'll drive done down myself if the offer is anywhere near what the last one was.
You will see the players loyalties in trying to help the squad stay up, or the players who are doing it for money
Tell them hands off Perks, Palace will be happy with Done. I'm surprised Ollie wants him though, that was Dougie Friedman in charge earlier. Smells like an exec decision. Whatever, it is just additional coffers to bring Adam Hammill home!
Perkins moved house to Barnsley last week. Hope we can hold onto him and Dawson more than anyone. Would like to keep Stones too but if the money's right.
I like Perkins when he's match fit and playing, but it doesn't seem often enough. He's had a fair few injuries in his short time with us. If we get the right price for him it would be good business.
