David Preece Chronicle Column

Really good piece this week. Mentioning how he's had offers north and south of the border but things have fallen through. Mentions running around the streets of Barnsley and doing swimming on his family holiday to help with fitness. Also how he's always got himself set up with another club without an agent. Hope he finds a club before the season starts.

Shame his goalkeeping isn't really of championship standard, and that isn't a dig, because he was great for the club in all ways other than pushing Steele for his place. Best of luck to the fella, deserves a club. Surely there's a league one team need a backup.
