Can we have him every game? I like a ref who keeps his cards in his pocket. He kept the game flowing nicely. The only slight gripe with him was when Helik was down the lino put her flag up for offside but when the game got going again somehow it was a throw in.
Somebody on social media asked what he was playing at... thought he was decent as well tonight. Didn't notice anything he did which is usually a good sign
Not too sure of Brizzle defenders names but when we had throw ons they literally had both arns round Brittain/ Styles for eg almost lifting them up to stop them running forward and nothing given.
Styles had both arms round their players a couple of times too, so did Morris. I think we are just blind to it when it's the other way
I had to check when I saw that he was in charge, because he seems to have been around forever. His first visit to Oakwell was a 1-0 win over Leicester in 2010. Hugo Colace scored the winner. He'd been a football league ref for nearly 3 years at that point too. He did well last night, credit where it is due.
One of best we’ve had this season I reckon. Consistent with his decision making and let the game flow.
What about in the first half when Anderson was thrown to the ground and their centre forward headed it wide?
I was just thinking of instances last night that were right under mine and the linesman s nose. Standing behind them with both arms tightly wrapped round them. Nothing given.
I thought he was a bit too lenient but he was consistent and I moan when they are too fussy and stop start so no complaints from me. The linesman at the Ponte side however, he was hopeless. Always behind play and missed at least 2 blatant offsides in the first half.
Thank you Red CB, I agree the ref had a good game,I don't remember any bookings or histrionics, which is very rare these days.
