    Showed today that he can play at this level. Glad it was him to stay rather than Perkins. Think Dawson might suit a DW team.

    Had a good game today and agree he looks a much better player without Perkins around him.

    lost in possession a few times, and the odd dogy balls, but other than that a solid game. i think danny will have plans for him. 4-2-3-1 seems to be a good option

    Agree i've given him some stick and wanted him gone, him and O'Brien were a revelation in the middle.
    The thing was both were looking to go forward all the time, makes a difference to Perkins who was looking sideways or backwards this season.

    I'm glad I'm not the sort of person who says things like 'I told you so' and generally lords it up about being right about stuff and referring back to previous posts where someone foolishly disagreed with my opinion and now must be made to look a right charlie and their shortcomings exposed.. I'm so glad I'm nothing like that. :D

    Hey i dont mind saying it !!
    I said last sumer that if we played Dawson and Perkins together then we would go down and it should be Dawson that played because he is a better footballer.
    Not a fantastic player by any stretch, but a lot better than he looks with Perkins at his side.

    So there I told you so !!!!:p
