    Lot of blather on here about this, but really, what matters is whether we have the signings in place on 9th August - not now.It's quiet, and we're all hungry for news, and it would obviously be preferable for any newbies to have longer to get to know the team. But ultimately, it's about the 11 (+7) that we put out against Crawley. So that's the time to judge, innit?

    is that when the Club statements switch from 'very competitive', 'at least top 6' and 'quick return back to the Championship'...with 'transitional period', 'will need time to gel', 'don't expect instant success' and 'scmp has prevented us doing our business early enough'?

    Yep I am now getting concerned; the season is close and we're a long way from being squad ready IMO. Then we'll be hearing "the players need time to gel, blah blah blah".
