    Reds boss Simon Davey says the 26-year-old has attracted interest from the Robins for a couple of weeks but their bid did not match Barnsley's valuation. </p>

    Davey told BBC Radio Sheffield: &quot;We've given them a figure and they'll come back or not come back. </p>

    hi HR if Barnsley receive silly money for ads them he can go. What i mean by silly money is 1 million plus and clauses. I do believe is cousin plays for them.

    Think it said we have offered Rangers £250k and they want £500k.

    and no-one is irreplacable.

    Personally if we get good money it's not such a bad thing.

    We need a midfielder who scores goals and if we can get the sort of money for Da Silva that could bring in a Redders/Hignett/Howard type player then it's good business. Play him with Colace in the middle, bring in a loanee as cover, and I see no problem.

    Da Silva is class and if we could keep him, Colace AND bring in a goalscoring midfielder, great but I can't see that happening.

    Personally i would like to see us keep anderson and sign charlie adam to play in the centre, anderson playing more deffensive like he used to do when he played alongside howard.

    If they get anything close to 700k snatch their hands off.

    Looks class but doesn't score or set up many. Colace can do the defensive stuff just as well.

    I'd be gutted if he went, but Davey doesn't exactly sound hopeful.

    Thought it was around 500k, but jesus; hell of a signing on fee that- especially with it being from us.

    Got a feeling we'll let De Silva leave aslong as we can get Adam in, think that's in Davey's mindset. A Colace and Adam CM partnership next season anyone?
