Ha! Look beyond the stats Paul ....... look at when we played really well, and looked a very good team, and then when we didn't..... .... and purely looking at the stats, it's would give us 7 points extra over a season with Anderson .... we just might need them!
I've got it It's solely down to one player in midfield! We might need to look at the form of teams played when we played them, the points they'd gained etc.
I admit Andersen is preferable to Togwell as.......... a creative midfielder-however he does have some faults which can be a problem-he often seems to be unaware of an opposing playerdwells too long on the ball so being dispossessed-remember he played in the debacle at Hull
I could live with him and Togwell in the centre of midfield

Most of Sam's games have been against ***** teams Most of Anderson's against the better teams. Makes the comparison even more valid. Anyway, I heard you were a part-timer these days and got all your gen from Jeff Stelling on a satdy aft!
Its simple... ...Da Silva is a much better player than Togwell and influnces the rest of the team to play football rather than kick and rush. Nothing aginst Toggers but he is lower 2nd tier not upper 2nd tier/ lower prem like Da Silva.
RE: Most of Sam's games have been against ***** teams Part timer in as much as I go to home games but not away games!
At last, a voice of sanity it's like you said in Fawlty Towers mate .... specialist subject ... The Bleeding Obvious! I haven't got anything against Toggers really, just that his passing is shat and we are conceding possession time after time afer ....
Like I said, part-timer Wouldn't catch me, feet up, roaring fire, Stelling waxing lyrical on the Sky HD set, when there's a long horrible away journey to be done and to collect another nil points. Oh no siree, never miss an away game me. Apart from the ones I don't fancy ie. outside the county of Yorkshire.
