According to Davey, he is in negotiations with Everton to get him back in Jan. He also says that he doubts Everton would loan him out until the end of the season. Therefore we mignt have to buy him from Everton, if available. His words not mine.
Hope they don't ask for daft money. I can't see him playing for Everton but perfect for us to build a team around. Great player IMHO and the kind of player that would have helped us yesterday..putting his foot on the ball and keep possession
Yes it would be great to get him back to the club, but bigger and more prosperous clubs than us could come in and nick him from under our noses. That's football, and money talks.
