    Yes, one of the chants that used to get the whole stadium going. Were going to need some of them chants soon. It should be one of the main requirements when considering new players,,, that we can make up a fan's chant about the guy, perhaps thats whats holding up the new striker, no ones available we can work into a song....

    Legend and always will be. A great hand for him tonight for all the good he's done to us. If it wasn't for Danny Wilson then he could still be in the dutch 2nd division and not the millionaire he is.

    contract ended

    joined wigan who were then div 3 ( league 1 )

    paying top dollar to anyone who was willing to drop down a few divisions for a couple of seasons

    great player tho , got better with age and experience , probably at his best 3 years ago now playing for portsmouth in there first season in the premiership

    He was never going to re-sign with us, he always said he had enjoyed his time at Barnsley but wanted a new challenge

    One off the best defenders we have ever had and a nice bloke too.</p>
    He use to walk his dog down by the old Mitchell's slag heap. Always had a friendly word for folk.

    I only wished he had never been allowed to leave we could have got back into the Premiership with him in the side.
