    My favourite film, probably.

    Anybody seen it?

Aye very good film, well worth a watch if anyone's not seen it.

I bought Somers town and a room for Romeo Brass recently too.

Not seen Somers Town, but Romeo Brass is decent too.

I enjoy Shane Meadows' work, and Paddy Considine is a fine actor.

Yep but seen it in two halves. Keep meaning to watch it all the way through so might just get around to it this week.

Good film but Romeo Brass is better, that's got more of a re-watchability factor.

Superb, Paddy Considine is one of my favourite contemporary actors. Check out 'My Summer if Love' made around the same time. Very different film but another great menacing turn by Paddy. Also, 'the Last Resort' for a more compassionate performance, same director Polish, forget his name. I'll ask Mrs C, she knows everything Polski.

'My Summer of Love' is a morality tale set in Yorkshire on the nature and frailties of faith and friendship.

Particularly memorable as Emily Blunt gets her tits out and lezzes off with her mate. Something for all the family!

Tyrannosaur is an amazing but horribley brutal film. Directed by Paddy Considine.

Have you seen Ratcatcher by Lynne Ramsay? My second favourite film of all time, really recommend that too.

I'll be ordering that. Cheers for the heads up, mate.

I'll certainly be ordering 'Last Resort' and 'My Summer of Love', both sound my cuppa coffee. And once I've got through those, and 'Tyrannosaur', I'll take a look at 'Ratcatcher' too.

Glad I posted this thread. Always good to get other opinions, and to be pointed in the direction of other good work.

You can't beat watching a decent film with a few bevvies and the missus.
