After watching the video of the transfer procedure of Pines I think we need to be patient.Collins said a couple of weeks ago that the recruitment team were working very hard behind the scenes.I didn't take that as identifying targets more getting things sorted and getting deals over the line.
"Good morning this is Staples" "Oh hello, this is Barnsley football club. Do you have any fax paper and ink cartridges, and if so how much are they?" "Sorry we don't have any in stock right now, and the price would be ten pounds for the paper and twenty for the ink." "OK, it doesn't matter, we don't need any this week. Goodbye."
The transfer window closes tomorrow night 11pm, Thursday 1st Feb. That's what I'm lead to beleive by the EFL reports
Tbh the first article I opened says tonight for the efl. But come across another that says tomorrow. Apologies if the case. Dated 18th jan 2024. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/when-does-the-january-transfer-window-2024-close-for-the-efl/ This part in particular We've now had two-and-a-half weeks of the window being open for clubs in the EFL, but there is not much longer to do business. The transfer window will slam shut on January 31 at 11pm, which is the same time that the summer window shuts, and unlike the Premier League, EFL clubs do not have deal sheets for incoming moves which allows an extra two hours of time to get all paperwork signed off.
