I see he's signed for Blackpool.

What happened with him? Thought we were gonna sign him!

I think ritchie was quoted as saying:

"We have Matt Carbon coming back to fitness, so we have plenty of cover at the back. However we are little bit light up front, so we will be looking to bring another striker in".

That is an absolutely appalling article

It completely gives the reader the wrong idea about the situation. Two weeks ago, in The Barnsley Chronicle, Andy Ritchie stated we would not be offering Dean Gordon a contract. However, from what is written on the official site it appears Blackpool have beaten us to the signing. That is simply not the case. We didn't miss the chance to sign him. We had every chance to sign him, but we decided against it. For whatever reason he wasn’t the player for us at this time.

I’ve no idea why our official site should claim we’re losing out to other clubs when that is far from what happened.

Why let the truth get in the way of a good story?

I could understand it if it was on the Backpool site

What I can't understand is why we're claiming that other clubs have pinched players from under our nose. Hardly moral boosting, is it?

    Yeah but...

The website has to attract the 50 million subscribers it gets on a weekly basis.

This will not make sense now, as the article in question has been changed

I say cut out the middle man.
