Sheff Utd fan listed Hammond on eBay

Funny as **** what's happened with Hammond. Spent all season on loan at United, got booed almost every match, got absolutely slaughtered by the fans in the final game.

Then the hard faced fecker activates a clause in his loan contract to sign for the permanently, probably knowing he won't get the same cash anywhere else.

no sooner has he signed it, United transfer listed him.

    complete **** up lol

I never heard anything like it. I thought the option at the end of loans was for the benefit of the club!

It's certainly a very strange clause to have in a contract. The blunts are in meltdown about it.

The way I see it is, had he been good at Sheffield United, and he'd activated said clause, they'd have been going on about how good an idea it was.

The fact is, Dean Hammond is looking after himself. He probably knows he's no future at Sheffield United, but is making sure he's getting paid until his future is sorted out. Can hardly blame him.

If Brownhill had the same clause we'd all be in uproar. Cant help but laugh though can you.

I'd be happy with Brownhill signing for us.

I don't blame him at all. Though he must be pretty thick skinned.

Blades must be stupid. A clause where both parties agreed on permanent should have been put in place.

Just another example of how they're one of the worst run clubs in football.

I'm not surprised the fans are in uproar. 18k or whatever it is through the gates & teams with a quarter of the attendance finishing above them with much smaller budgets.

If Brownhill had the same clause I'd be delighted

So one one will buy him
He gets his over inflated wages for another year
Unless blunts can afford to pay him off

    Brilliant work

My point was he may not have had the connection or the playing system or whatever at the blunts and maybe be blaming them for his lack of form.
By triggering another season in his contract to lower other clubs expectations he may get loaned/ bought without what he sees as lowering his earning capacity .

Or summat along those lines anyway,I might not be explaining this very well tbh.
