Me: "See you on monday have a nice weekend"
Him: "you too. you doing much?"
me: "just going to football. you?"
him: "nothing, i'm glad you can afford football, I can't pay £30"
me: "it's only about £15/16 tomorrow"
him: "really? I thought they were all £30 these days"
me: "most are but tomorrow is category C so its cheaper"
him: "i'll go then, i'll take our young un as well."
me: "nice one, might see you then."

£30 drives customers away, cheaper tickets encourages customers.

My routine conversation with the kids on a Saturday before a home

Me- Lads are you coming to the match today

Lads- Get real Dad there rubbish

Me- Well you can stop at home and help mum clean up and do your home work

Lads- Anythings better than going to watch that rubbish

I have tried but rubbish football also keeps customers away at least their not wearing Leeds shirts like the rest of their mates.

I really hope that the hard work of the fans in marketing tomorrows game pays off and we get a good few more fans through the turnstiles. Its the only way the club will review this pricing policy IMO.

Me: Are you off to the match tomorrow?

Mate: No way Pedro it's £30

Me: If you were as bothered as you say you are (or people want to think you are), you would have looked into it and found out it was only £16. Oh well. Enjoy spending more than £30 at Meadowhall.

If the match had been advertised as £16 then I could see your point, but it has not until then fans did something themselves.

Even a funking circus makes sure that there is plenty of flyers, posters etc. put up when they are in town, ADVERTISING its the future !!!

The club has said they will work with Fans to put together a new customer/ fans charter. Ideas welcome.

My idea would be that they stick to what they put in the charter and not slyly reword it when the need arises to screw a few bob out of the fans.

The last charter was also worked out with the Supporters Trust input so nowt new there club working with fans.
