....a very extortionate £30 minimum to get into Oakwell on 28 February 2009.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, the robbing (rich) barstewards, cos that's a ridiculous price for Championship football, or even Premiership football for that matter.

Be nice if we could, but think we have to charge the same as the home fans.

Don't blame their fans, feel sorry for them

They have to pay that much every week to see their team.

OK then, make it a tenner for our fans and full price ...

..... for them, like when we did it to Leicester last season after they shafted us in the same way at the Walkers Stadium

Take your point but summat's got to be done about this ...

........ there should be a set price for every division, and it should be no more than £25 Prem, £20 Championship, £15 league one and £10 league two, the 'big clubs' with the big grounds would still make more pro-rata than the smaller clubs

I was thinking about that last night

But then how would the smaller teams be able to convince the casual football fan to watch them instead of one of the local big clubs? It could maybe work with a maximum and minimum entry fee and then clubs can choose how much to charge within that scale.

    £5 - £15 league two
    £10 - £20 league one
    £15 - £25 championship
    £20 - £30 premiership

By having the lower bracket as well and making it known clubs will be encouraged/pressured to not put prices at the very top of the scale as all their fans would know that they are charging as much as possible.
