The price cut of £20 in the Ponty End is absolutely fantastic and very much appreciated. £270 for 23 home championship games represents excellent value and I can't wait to renew my ticket. Thank you very much.
I'm not knocking the new prices and being in Oz means i'm a bit out of touch but didn't the VAT get cut at the last budget? I guess that the lower VAT won't be the full reduction but it will be part of it. Still at 270 quid it's great value & if you can get a kid in for free as well so much the better. I almost wish i was back home.
RE: whats average admission price into oakwell on a matchday Between £20-22 depends where you sit. i.e. fecking rip off.
Great, thats a cut in price of £30 in two seasons, well done Barnsleyfc and i hope we retain all those who now have season tickets irrespective who the manager will be.
Greedy Gordon's cut price offer ain't forever mate... ...VAT goes back to 17.5% on 1st Jan 2010 - halfwayish through season.
Good Stuff It's now Under 12s that are free as apposed to Under 11s. So those on the upper age limit continue to get a free ticket this season.
But the season tickets arent bought midway through the season, theyre bought now and subject to the tax cut in full, not part. Wonder what we get instead of reserve game tickets.
RE: Greedy Gordon's cut price offer ain't forever mate... but vat is charged at date of sale so it shouldn't matter. it will matter to them paying on the gate, presumably when the rate of VAT goes back up the matchday tickets will go up as well. all the more reason to buy a ST. anyway, i'm not moaning and any price reduction has to be applauded. (clap) plus it makes no difference to me cos i won't be getting one, the travel costs are a bit too much. (i know, part timer)
Dear BFC, thanks and .......... .......... if you keep the interest factor going by appointing a new manager I will certainly be interested in once again becoming a ST holder (x2).
your move.

Well Done Barnsley Football Club The twenty quid off is very much appreciated in these hard economic times. Now is the time for people more than ever to buy a season ticket. Especially with some of the brand new mouth watering matches we should have to look forward to next season.
RE: A good move then Yep, that's my lad, turned 11 in March.. Thought he was going to cost me £70 this season so that's very welcome
