    Yeah, made for bizarre reading in the Chron.

    It can't be about age - just look at Brad Friedel for example and plenty of other keepers who played well into their 30's. Fair enough if he was an outfield player but as a GK I think it's nonsense to be honest. Got to be something else going on there. Unless of course he simply doesn't rate him, which is fair enough #opinions

    I trust Flickers judgement but to offer a 28 year old goalkeeper reduced terms because of his age is a pretty lame excuse.
