As I've never played a proper game of football in my life I am officially a free agent and as such can be signed outside of the transfer window.

I am in my 40s and rather unfit. I've got two left feet and coordination roughly on a par with Michael J Fox.

With that in mind please get in touch with me and I'll bail you out of the **** as I am absolutely certain I would perform better than the shower of ***** that has been assembled by your bosses.

However I would like to add that my offer comes with the condition that you actually allow me to kick a football in the general direction of the opposition goal once every few weeks. Something which may well be an alien concept to yourself,

No but there's some consolation in that the performances can't get much worse. The results will when we play some half decent sides but the performances are about as bad as they can get.

 

It's getting worse not better... who will he blame post match? Blokes clueless as was the last one. I'm losing interest tbh

 

Mmmmm .... says a lot when my young lad says this is boring .... back pass, back pass, back pass... time for this plan to be put in the bin, forget the stats, play football, score goals , entertain ... or next season you'll be lucky to get 5k season tickets sold and an average crowd of less than 7k ....

 

been watching barnsley since 1968 and a season ticket holder 40 years these last couple of years have been some of the worst negative football i can remember with the so called wing back system which actually is a boring back five the way i feel right now i wont be renewing next season

 

Mate mine who was there tonight stood near players entrance exit after game n half players nit even boarded coach tells you something seriously wrong at club

 

Not even boarded coach after the game? They finished 20 minutes ago. Doubt they’re even out of the changing rooms.

 

Not really, players who may live nearer to Huddersfield may have been allowed to travel independently. Or, they’re all off on this piss in Huddersfield

 

Has anyone considered that this all might be a concerted effort to get rid of Clarke after the way he slags them off in post match interviews? Dressing room well and truly lost?

I agree. Why oh why aren’t we allowed the odd winger or at least someone with a bit of flair? Boring as hell.

One who actually is trying and is currently leading the BbS player of the season chart. A lot of us like his effort, and whilst not a world beater, he's certainly one top of that chart by merit.

The other, we have all clamoured for his inclusion. Lofthouse. Who tonight seemed to want to join the ever increasing bandwagon to pass back and not go forwards.

Lofthouse we have seen time and time again at wanting to be on the wing and run at folk. You don't turn into tonights player without the head coach instructing him to. Surely?

When I checked the player of the year thread it seems to suggest that the goalkeeper is currently leading. But in second place is Cotter. Are you really suggesting that Barry and Kyran are wingers? I agree that they have been relative bright spots, but to call either of them wingers is stretching it somewhat in my opinion.

 

They are certainly not defenders and are the closest we have to being wingers.

 

Neil Thompson and Nicky Eaden? Unfortunately the present incumbents would not qualify to lace their boots.
