Try to keep Steele and run the chance of losing Muller

Let Steele go & bring in another goalkeeper to be understudy to Muller

Make Steele an offer he cannot refuse to keep him there as second goalkeeper

Sign Steele and sell Muller then bring an understudy in for Steele.

I suppose it all counts on staying in the championship; if we get relegated we will lose them both probably. :(

I think their would be, one or two clubs who would be interested in Muller, here and abroad (fishin)

We cant afford to keep a reserve keeper on those wages.

Steele will go in my opinion.

If Steele does go we're letting the wrong keeper go IMO.

I assume they had hoped to sell Muller at Christmas

    Obviously, there were no takers.

Let the new manager decide,if the results go our way this weekend I expect Cryne to have 'shaken hands' with Davey by 9-50pm on Monday night

Keep Steele without any doubt ....

I recall that, when he was signed, bearing in mind the blinder he played at Anfield, West Brom had us over a barrel a bit and we compromised in that we got Steele without a transfer fee, but paying him pretty good wages, but only for one year. This means that his contract must be up at the end of this season and he will need to negotiate a new one with this club, or another one. Just watch the media talk be all about Steele being sought after by other clubs, as his agent stokes the fire a bit. The message to Luke is: don't do a Danny Nardiello, or you'll end up in Hartlepool! The Reds offer is likely to be the best one you get; the fans think you are great, so stay here.

I think that Muller will not like the end of not being first choice automatically and this probably does spell the end of his Oakwell career, but at his own discretion. I am certain that he will get offers from several clubs, probably mostly abroad.

We would then need an understudy keeper, but there are usually plenty around, including some experienced ones - Nick Colgan, or Darren Ward anyone???

I think Muller and Steele are of the same standard so we should let the one go who can fetch the highest fee. That is Muller.
