    Anyone know his contract status beyond the end of the season? That to me reads like a goodbye and thank you?

    Having done a bit of research on him, I'd be very surprised indeed if we'd managed to land him permanently.

    He's contracted until 2018 and appears very highly thought of. I suspect it's just rather odd phrasing.

    Heard slade doesn't rate him at all. While most fans do. He's a winger naturally and tried to convert him to a full back in the premiership. He's good going forward but not premiership/championship quality defensively. Sounds good to me if he's quality going forward should be able to cope in this league having been used to premiership/championship wingers running at him.

    IF we have signed him on a view to permenant, that would be an amazing signing! But I doubt it.
