Tomorrow - January 6th is Epiphany, traditionally the festival that marks the coming of the 3 wise men to Bethlehem. This is the end of the Christmas period in England (although in some countries it carries on for as long as Feb 2nd!).

Strangely 12th night can be tonight or tomorrow, its all a bit confused.

I shall be taking our trimmings down tonight just to be safe as we are out tomorrow. Bet you are all glad you knwo that snippet of info.

    Its all a bit confusing..

some say that the Twelfth night is the night before the Twelfth day (yeah, I know, it makes no sense)

Easy - don't bother putting any up!

Depressing though going back to work and the decorations still up there, you just don't want them when you are back at work after Christmas.

    Nah that's tomorrow

Jan 6th, the feast of Epiphany is when decorations are traditionally brought down.

First day of Christmas is Boxing Day, the twelve days/nights starting on Christmas day evening.

Tonight is twelfth night but tomorrow is the twelfth day.

    http://www.cresourcei.org/cy12days.html

So down either tonight or tomorrow but before tomorrow night.

When is the correct time for them to be put up though? I think not before Dec 20th.
