In the early 1990s the two Sheffield teams played each other in the semi-final of the FA cup (I think that was the reason 1992?). As a distraction on the day of the final the Blunts played Tinidad and Tobago in Port of Spain. And since I lived out there at the time I went along. Unlike the wild images from the world cup, the crowd that day were silent. you could have heard a pin drop. So when I called out 'referee' at a few suspect decissions, 40K eyes turned on the one white guy with the Tarn accent. After which I was also quiet. The Blunts gave them the run around in the first half and went 1-0 up by the break, but by the second half they could not cope with the heat and the game ended on a diplomatic 1-1.
