    Sky channel 129 now.

Middle aged rockers. Still sound bloody good though.

4 years and £2m to make an album? They want fcking burning!!

Rick Savage used to work under my Dad at Stocksbridge. Until he decided to throw away a decent trade for a ***** rock band.

Got no sympathy for the one armed drummer either. At least he only hurt himself when he decided to take his Corvette out racing round Snake Pass in the snow.

I sound the Dragon Tyke of rock n roll. Only without the xenophobia and transfer impatience.

a real story of rags to riches are Def leppard.Started from nothing and made it big.Mutt lang was the best thing that happened to them career wise,he changed their sound and made it one of the most recognisable in rock music.Phil Collens guitar sound is huge and those Jackson guitars are a right piece of kit, some good vids on youtube showing a full run down of his rig.

Saw them at Donnington in 1986, first gig in the UK after Rick Allen's accident, recall him getting a rousing reception when he came on stage.

Saw that set from Vegas a while back, Joe Elliot has put a bit of timber on!

yes,it was good how the band stood by him and still made his career possible,a stupid mistake very nearly cost him his life. You live and learn in life and unfortunately for some their first mistake can be their last.He was a young lad living a dream.

I saw them one Monday night some time in the early 80s at the Reform Club in Wombwell.

We got chatting to them and they said they were flying out to the USA the following Thursday. The rest is history.

I don't think they were even old enough to drink at the time.

I have an early single of theirs called "Get your Rocks Off" I'm not sure if it was the A or B side.

Joe Elliott also plays in a tribute band called the Down n Outz......paying homage to Ian Hunter and Mott the Hoople...not seen them but they sound really good.

Great band but maybe seen their day.

Got their last album "songs from the sparkle lounge" and was very disappointed. Top class through the 80's and 90's.
