We're in the market for a replacement for Cranie.

That could mean replacing him with Ramage but more likely brining someone younger in with a resale value.

He'll probably be first choice with Nyatanga but given LJ wants a settled team next season, what does that mean for Holgate's game time? Will he carry on at RB instead?

We'll sign a least one central defender, I'd like to see Bree Cowgill Holgate Smith start all the friendly have a really good look at them together now they have more experience, people on here keep going on about bringing in a left back to challenge Smith but I'd love to see templton given a chance I really rate the lad from the 10/15 times I've seen him in U21S

I think we'll probably bring in a couple of central defenders and a left back, giving us reasonable defensive cover for the coming season in the first team squad.

Everybody knows Holgate as the makings of a good player, but he's still young..Would like to see him at CB, and up against a few Iwan Roberts types before we can even guess how good he may become...

We're losing 3 CBs in the summer 4 if Nyatanga gets a better deal elsewhere. Id say you need 4, Nyatanga plus 1 or 2 experienced defenders if Nyatanga goes. That said, plus Holgate and Cowgill to fight it out with no one guaranteed a start

Trident I would imagine now the influence of the SNP has been nullified.

All the teams that got promoted automatically from league 1 and league 2 conceded around 20-30 goals less than us this year.
For me this the most important part of our summer recruitment, if we want to get results.
