Looks like the guy from Fulham. BARNSLEY Football Club are in negotiations with a Premiership club to bring a highly rated central defender to Oakwell ahead of the transfer window closing. The international defender could even put pen-to-paper on a loan deal keeping him at Oakwell until the end of the Coca Cola Championship season before Tuesday's clash with QPR. More Soon.

It Would Have To Be Heinze......... like you said Sarky for me to be interested. If it's the guy from Fulham then how do you leave out Kay or Atkinson for him ? Then we have Reid as well. We do not need another centre half.

There's no way it'd be Heinze for a start we've only just signed a left back, why would we sign another on loan? More importantly, there's no way he'd drop down to the championship, let alone to join a team fighting for it's life as we are.
