so can those morons in the Ponte End shouting for them to hump it up the park at every opportunity please go and watch another team.
There is gonna be some crazy moments this season if we keep zipping it along the back line, who cares though as long as we are trying to play some footy.
Can someone tell Muller its not against the rules to catch it more than once in a game.
I can see us letting in at least 80 goals this season , however if we knock them in like Satdy then we could get90 in the other net.
Play-Offs on the horizon.

I noticed at the Wigan game that the loudest cheers were when the defence bombed the ball out Peter Kay style.
We are not use to seeing defenders with good technique who can play football.

Muller caught a lot of ball after the first 15 minutes, hence several breakaways caused by his quick throws.
He's a bit different from Colgan who'd wait for players to push up then launch ball up field. Muller sets attacks off from deep. It's nice to see.
I like his comedy punch when it was gonna land straight in his hands. No players near him either.

It's something the Continentals tend to do. It was a feature in the English game in the 50s and 60s. It was harder to catch the ball without modern keepers gloves.
I think he will catch it more when he adapts to our game. He does command his area better than Colgan but he has better players in front of him than Nick had.
I really think this 3-5-2 helps the keepers to throw the ball out And Muller is worse on low crosses than Colgan and he stays on his line too, allowing Hayles a free goal. never challenged him at all. Defenders didnt do their job either, not just having a go at Muller. But Muller does like to throw the ball out.
Big fan of throwing the ball out. I am more than happy for us to ein 3-2 , 4-3 or even draw 2-2 , 3-3.
it's a german thing . Watched a german game on the sultana channel and the comantator was on about the keepers punching the ball instead of catching it,so get used to it, it's not pretty but effective
If it was'nt for us in the ponty getting behind the players and if we just sat there like fecking corpses and gave the odd clap then oakwell would be a very depressing place. And as for shouting for us to kick the ball long? What planet you on cos everyone around me incl me loved the football. So instead of slagging off the ponty get off your arse and get behind the lads you never know it might make oakwell a fortress again.
Maybe its the old men who sit around me then. You obviously dont sit anywhere near me,
You can only comment on whats around you I am afraid.

I also sit in the ponty end and cant remember much moaning about the passing along the back line, only when it was looking dangerous on a couple of occasions. There is no need to do it all the time just for the sake of playing passing football. Sometimes a hoof is required. Its learning when. And the previous poster has got a point about the singing. If the ponty end is quiet then Oakwell is like a morgue. Surely we are ALL there to make noise and get the team going.
