everybody is aware that a new defender is needed...now! but who does everybody suggest? i'm annoyed that we missed out on ben futcher in the summer and also chris westwood. problem is i'm struggling to think of someone else worth signing at the back. i don't really want a young player on loan. we need someone who looks like carbon in physique but doesn't have the turning circle of a steam train. any suggestions??
Taggart? The youngster Cahill - is it Gary? - from Aston Villa on loan? (I know you said you weren't in favour of youth, but he did well at Burnley.)
