They undid us at Carrow Road and again today. We need a lesson in how to defend against a team which relies on the pacy counter-attack. I think we could have looked at the situation man-to-man and worked out that the twin main threat would be Huckerby and Croft on break aways. We are clearly ok at handling the 'heavy mob' down the middle, but struggled against pace down the flanks today. How do other teams stop pacy wide players? I think Norwich must have worked out, a bit like rugby one-to-ones, that Huckerby against Heckingbottom was a dead cert advantage to them, but had we? I suppose there was no other wide left defender who could have done any better, if Eckersley, who at least has pace, was out injured. Pity, though, as Huckerby was the difference in most ways.

Huckerby must love playing against us, it was so easy for him in the first half . He could have stopped playing, walked off the field had a cup of tea, walked on again and scored. That's how much time he had, poor defending today, but Norwich went into top gear , we rarely got out of first. They are a better side than us , we can't complain. (N)
